Marvel Debuts Thor & Cap Posters

As this year’s Comic-Con prepares to kick off (it officially runs from Thursday to Sunday this week), Paramount and Marvel have decided to get ahead of the game and unleash two exclusive new posters, for Thor and **Captain America at Yahoo.

These aren’t your ordinary one-sheets, however: the nifty images are in fact concept art for the superhero movies.

The Thor image is of the hero battling evil brother Loki against a dramatic background, while the Captain America pic shows Steve Rogers in action during World War Two. They’re both smart moves – something different from the usual photos of the cast in action or simple logo work.

There’s no word if these will be available in any form at the Convention itself (though you’ve got to figure they could be the fan give-aways at the panel in the cavernous Hall H presentation this coming Saturday).

Team Empire is already on its way to cover the event, so keep your browser pointed our way for all the interviews, videblogisode madness and news you need.

Oh, and the official sites for both films have now gone live: you'll find all your Thor needs addressed here, and Captain America now makes his online home here.
