Beware the residents of Carnival Row: you might not survive the encounter.
New Line has acquired the serial killer pitch Killing On Carnival Row from writer Travis Beacham. The film will be produced by Arnold and Anne Kopelson, who have some experience with serial killers and New Line – the last film they handled for the company was a little project called Se7en.
Carnival Row is set in the future, in a city called the Burgue, fashioned after 18th Century London. Populated by humans and several other creatures, terror breaks out when a serial killer starts slaughtering some of the non-humans.
