The forthcoming Harvey Keitel film, Three Seasons, will be the first American film to be made in Vietnam since the war ended in 1975. Earlier this year, Hanoi authorities scrapped a location shoot for Tomorrow Never Dies (starring the gloating imperialist villain 007). However, Three Seasons is a less contentious fodder about an ex-GI who returns to Vietnam in search of a daughter, born out of an affair with a Vietnamese woman. "It's a Vietnamese story...not a war movie," says producer Jason Kliot.
