Madonna is to star alongside Rupert Everett in a new dramatic comedy, The Next Best Thing. In a familiar-sounding plot, she will play a thirtysomething single woman who's desperate to have a baby with time running out. She persuades Everett, her best friend, to provide the necessary liquids to father the child. We can't wait to see what happens.
