Mad Max: Fury Road among the winners at the London Critics Circle Film Awards

Refusing to let America dominate the awards-giving territory, our own, home-grown film critics had their say at the 36th London Film Critics' Awards. And, as could be expected, there was a strong British presence among the winners, with the likes of Tom Hardy and Charlotte Rampling among the successful nominees.

George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road was given Film Of The Year and the director himself won his category. 45 Years was Best British/Irish film while stars Rampling and Tom Courtenay took the main acting awards.
