Peter Jackson, the director of Heavenly Creatures, the film which launched Kate Winslet on her meteoric rise to megastardom, is currently trying to find people for the cast of his live-action version of JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit (and not, as was previously reported, The Lord of the Rings). Jackson, who admirably refuses to relocate from his native New Zealand to Hollywood despite pressure from studios, is basically having a bit of a weirdo hunt: he's looking for anyone over 7ft tall and anyone below 4'2" to play the film's assortment of dwarves, elves and wizards. So if you're used to shopping in High & Mighty - or Mothercare - maybe you should give him a ring.
