We thought we'd go for a Leonardo news-piece three days in a row, (you know you want it) so here goes: Leonardo Di Caprio is being sued by the producer of a low-budget movie in which he once starred. David Stutman, the producer of the 1995 offering, Don's Plum, has asserted in a $10 million lawsuit that Di Caprio and fellow actor Tobey Maguire have called a number of independent film distributors, urging them not to distribute the film. The suit claims he's using his new-found superstar status to block the film, which he was originally very pleased with. According to the lawsuit, "During the screening, he jumped out of his seat several times, laughing, clapping, and high-fiving his friends." Maguire, who starred recently in The Ice Storm, and whose part in Don's Plum was largely improvised, was said to be less happy with his performance. A spokesperson for Di Caprio claims that all parties agreed the film would never be distributed.
