Empire parties with Leo at The Beach premiere

Everyone, but everyone, wanted to witness the second coming of Leo, lucky ol’ Empire had a golden ticket… The crowds were, well, titanic. An estimated 10,000 girls crammed into London’s Leicester Square, expectantly awaiting the second coming of Leo. They weren’t disappointed. Unlike the LA premiere, Leo arrived promptly, announced along with the rest of the cast by producer Andrew McDonald (warmest reception: Robert Carlyle). Writer Duncan Hodge then cracked a couple of Leo-in-London jokes (“he’s standing for mayor”) but the shy looking superstar declined to reply. The stars then took their seats, slipping out before the end, thereby missing a sizeable round of applause. However, it would be fair to say that the general reaction to the film was mixed.
