Making a copyright or trademark from actors names is not uncommon in Hollywood, even when the stars in question are deceased, a factor which means that you might find yourself in trouble if you decide to start a company called John Wayne Washing Machines Ltd. But while Wayne is a Tinseltown legend, there are plenty of newcomers who also feel their names should not be taken in vain. Which brings us to Leonardo DiCaprio, who has just won a legal battle against his name being used to sell ice cream and sun tans. Currently in the process of making his name a trademark, Leo objected to a German ice cream / tanning parlour called
