Arriving like the fiery breath of Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons (and thank goodness she found them, or we’d never hear the end of it), the third season of Game Of Thrones is almost upon us. A new trailer has arrived, which promises much in the way of clashes, both armoured and vocal, and manages to do so without spoiling anything. Take a look...
The third season finds the pieces on the board moving further towards the almighty conflict we know is coming. Dany (Emilia Clarke) is recruiting an army and ships so she can make her claim to the Iron Throne. Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) is sitting on it, being a little bastard as always while mother Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) plots and uncle Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) schemes for more respect.
Robb Stark (Richard Madden) continues his campaign against the Lannisters and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) joins the Wildlings in the North, meeting their king, Mance Rayder (Ciarán Hinds) in the process.
With more dragon action, bigger set pieces and loads more new cast members, Game Of Thrones’ new season arrives in the US on March 31 and on our screens on April 1.
