Oh, that crafty Knives Out 2 team. They thought they could slip an extra little nugget of casting past us after that torrent a couple of weeks ago, didn't they? We suspect... foul play! Anyway, the latest addition might not be as well known to those who haven't seen Netflix series Outer Banks, but she's also got credits including Boy Erased and Stranger Things. Madelyn Cline will be sharing the screen with Daniel Craig and the rest.
Writer/director Rian Johnson is bringing his murder mystery concept to Netflix after a big deal for two sequels was hammered out. Craig will be back as sly detective Benoit Blanc, with the ensemble of potential suspects already stacked thanks to Dave Bautista, Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson and Edward Norton signing on.
The story is, as seems right, a mystery for now, with only Craig's character returning from the first film. Production is scheduled for this summer in Greece.
