Gothic director par excellence Tim Burton is a mite unhappy with US censors, who have slapped an 'R' for restricted rating on his latest opus, Sleepy Hollow. Based on the classic shilling short story by Washington Irving, Burton cast bezzie mate Johnny Depp in the spooky film, which also features Christina 'Wednesday Adams' Ricci as the love interest.

Burton lashed out at the ratings decision, which means that no-one under 17 can see the movie. Sleepy Hollow director Tim Burton has slammed the American censors for slapping a "restricted" rating on his spooky tale. "I have no problem showing this to some children", he said. "Kids are like adults - some kids can take it and some can't."
