The Titanic star has nabbed the lead in Jane Campion's newie Holy Smoke. She'll play an Aussie who tries to escape a religious cult but instead starts a romance with the cult leader. Campion apparently had her doubts about Winslet's capabilities, but her audition swung it. Sadly for Kate it seems she's undergone some personal research on cranks.
