Multi-Oscar-nominated composer, Michael Kamen, has died at the age of 55. The composer, famous for his scores to the Lethal Weapon and Die Hard films as well as such recent projects as X-Men, died of a suspected heart attack on Tuesday morning after suffering with multiple sclerosis for several years. With a CV that boasted both mainstream Hollywood pictures and more obscure, offbeat films Kamen also worked with bands like Pink Floyd and Aerosmith. Having won a BAFTA, a Grammy and numerous other awards, Kamen was nominated for his first Oscar for the title song to Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, something that catapulted Bryan Adams to the top of the UK chart and left him there for half the year. Still, we're sure the powers that be won't hold that against him.
