Between films such as Booksmart and TV shows including Justified and Unbelievable, Kaitlyn Dever is certainly something of a rising star. She's now joining megastars George Clooney and Julia Roberts in the comedy Ticket To Paradise.
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again's Ol Parker co-wrote the script with Daniel Pipski and will direct the film, which sees Clooney and Roberts as a divorced couple that teams up and travels to Bali to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago. She's looking to marry a waiter that she met while on vacation, you see.
Deadline's story doesn't specify Dever's role, but we can see her as the pair's child, Lily. And with Billie Lourd playing Wren, Lily's best friend, the Booksmart reunion klaxon is already blaring. Parker will have the cameras rolling in Australia this year with a release date on the books for September 2022.
