It has sometimes been said that Adam Sandler would pick places he wanted to visit and then co-write/produce/star in movies about those places to essentially get an expenses paid trip. John Cena and Jason Momoa look to be taking a page from the Sand Man's book for a new project, action-comedy Killer Vacation.
Okay, so they didn't write the script – that came from Brian and Mark Gunn – but according to Variety, they had so much fun hanging around on the set of Fast X (where Cena is back as Jakob Toretto and Momoa plays a villain) that they wanted to find something else to work on.
Warner Bros. jumped at the chance to pair the actors and now here we are. The plot is a mystery, but those who have seen it say it compares to movies such as True Lies.
And Cena, of course, has already had success in a movie with "Vacation" in its title, Vacation Friends.
