Now that Free Guy duo Ryan Reynolds and director/producer Shawn Levy have their latest project set up at Netflix, they're adding to the cast. Jennifer Garner and Zoe Saldana are joining the ensemble of The Adam Project.
The film sprang from a spec script by TS Nowlin that has been hanging around in Hollywood for a good eight years already – Tom Cruise was interested in the lead at one point. The concept, originally called Our Name Is Adam, has Jonathan Tropper overhauling it, and it'll see Reynolds as a man who has to travel back in time to get help from his 13-year-old self. They, he encounters, his late father, who at the time is the same age Reynolds' character is now.
Free Guy, meanwhile, is currently floating in release date limbo, waiting for another slot.
