Jason Momoa has already established a relationship with Netflix, starring in three seasons of Frontier for the streaming service. He's headed back there for a new revenge action thriller called Sweet Girl.
Momoa will playa devastated husband who vows to bring violent justice to the people responsible for his wife's death, all while protecting his daughter, the only family he has left.
Brian Andrew Mendoza is in the director's chair, with the script coming from Gregg Hurwitz and Philip Eisner, plus some polishing by Will Staples. There's no information yet on when the movie will get shooting, but Momoa will be back on our screens in Dune, out on 20 November next year, and he's naturally back on board for the Aquaman sequel, which is eyeing a 2022 release but is still in development.
