Sex Education is saying hello to Jason Isaacs. And not only in the cult favourite actor (and charm-laden anecdote machine) signing up for the show's third season, but Girls Jemima Kirke and singer-songwriter Dua Saleh are also aboard.

With the show now back shooting (with safe, er, Sex Education procedures in place), the third season will continue to follow the story of the socially awkward Otis (Asa Butterfield), who must deal with burgeoning sexuality, school life and his sex therapist mother, Jean (Gillian Anderson).

Isaacs is joining the cast as Peter Groff, the more successful and arrogant older brother of Mr. Groff (Alistair Petrie), who has been putting him up since his separation.

Kirke will be a former student of Moordale, Hope, who returns to run the place, looking to turn it back into the pillar of excellence she thinks it should be. She'll clash with Saleh's Cal, a nonbinary student who doesn't appreciate the new head's fresh vision. Saleh is making their acting debut with the show.

We don't have a date for the show's return yet, but given the return to work, we figure it'll be back early next year.
