From the eras of Connery to Craig, the classic, sleek and stylish Aston Martin DB5 is James Bond’s most iconic car. First appearing in 1964’s Goldfinger and making a long-awaited return in Skyfall, the DB5 is synonymous with the best of 007. Now you can build your own version of the car in LEGO form, should you feel up to the task.

The LEGO Creator Expert range (that is, the no-messing-around, plenty-of-tricky-bits, Q-level-smarts collection) now includes Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, in a 1290-piece set packed with detail. It clocks in at a 1:8 scale, and includes a working ejector seat, pop-up machine guns, tyre-scythes, and revolving number plates, naturally. And yes, it features the classic 216A registration for real purists. The set goes on sale from today, priced at £129.99, and you can take a look at how it was designed below.

With the final scene of Spectre seeing Bond nab the DB5 back from Q before driving off with Léa Seydoux’s Madeleine Swann, the classic vehicle seems likely to feature in Danny Boyle’s upcoming Bond 25. The Trainspotting director will shoot the next 007 outing for a November 2019 release, with Daniel Craig once again taking the lead role.
