Jackal in gay rumpus

Reports from across the pond suggest that The Jackal has had a snip here and there. Bruce Willis' assassin character nips into a bar while being hotly pursued, and plants a smacker on a gay patron. When his cover is blown, Willis kills the poor chap. A slightly dubious plot-line, you might think, but US audiences actually applauded. Upon pressure from Bruce's co-star Richard Gere, and Gay and Lesbian activists, the scene was recut.
