Latest reports from Hollywood say that Tom Cruise may become the latest A-list performer to don a superhero's outfit. Apparently he's keen to produce and star in a film about the classic comic hero, Iron Man. The main character is frail billionaire industrialist Tony Stark, who is forced to live in a high-tech metal suit to continue living - and if you're going to live in a power suit, you might as well make it an all-powerful one. In the past Nicolas Cage had been linked with the role, but he opted for the cape and underpants of Superman - a decision he may now be regretting, given the production problems that have cursed the movie.
