After persistent hounding, Empire has finally squeezed a start date for Hot Fuzz out of director Edgar Wright. At last night's UK premiere of King Kong, we cornered the poor soul once again, and got the answer we have all been waiting to hear. "It's happening very soon – we're starting filming in March. There you go!" There indeed. And that's not all. The more attentive will have noticed a new notch on Wright's slate of upcoming projects, a film titled Them, with none other than Mr Jack Black.
Given the capacity for hearsay on the net, we sought confirmation. Has he spoken to Jack about the project? "I have yeah. I was at the New York premiere with him as well, so I had fun with him and Mike White, spending the weekend with them, which was cool." Mr Wright, you poor soul, will you never learn? Mwahahaha etc.
