Hip-hop helmers Ryan Smith and Frank Borin have been nabbed by Queen Latifah to direct her family comedy Kidnapped. The story will focus on the kidnapping of three siblings after their folks win a tonne of cash on the lottery, and the directors have a clear vision of what they want. “We’re going to try and recapture the comedy-adventure feel from films that were around when we were growing up, like Home Alone and Adventures In Babysitting,” said Borin, who along with Smith has helmed over 50 projects for the likes of Eminem, Cypress Hill and Good Charlotte.
