Helgeland complains of poor delivery

Rumours abound this morning of Brian Helgeland distancing himself from The Postman project. As Helgeland wrote the 5 Star LA Confidential you might have imagined a decent script for Kev's apocalyptic opus. But as the New York Daily News reports, Helgeland has opined, " I know The Postman is a bit of a mess. What they should have done is film my original screenplay. It was only 105 pages," which would have made the flic a touch under two hours. "Kevin Costner just got in there and took it over and made it his." We'll get to see on February 20, but the word from the States isn't good...
