Lord of the Rings stars Billy Boyd and Brad Douriff will appear together once again when Dourif reprises his role as homicidal child's toy Chucky in the fifth film in this franchise that will never die: Seed of Chucky. After marrying Jennifer Tilly and taking her on a homicidal honeymoon rampage in Bride of Chucky, the killer doll will cede centre stage to his evil offspring this time around, to be voiced by Boyd. It's an established franchise and he's worked with Dourif before but we can't help thinking that Seed of Chucky isn't the best possible career move for Billy Boyd. He's hot stuff off the back of the Rings films and his role in Master and Commander and, to be honest, a slightly tired horror film isn't really the way to go. Bride of Chucky was something of a cult hit, though, so he may yet prove us wrong. Seed of Chucky will begin shooting in Romania this October.
