What’s going on?

Surprise news from the US box office. The two best draws last week were a film about rape, and another about spiritual enlightenment. Not your usual box office fodder, particularly in America. The two films are, respectively, Kiss the Girls at number one, and Seven Years in Tibet at number two. Recently, German newspapers have reported that the historical character played by Brad Pitt in Seven Years... was a member of Hitler's SS. However that hasn't dented the film's popularity in the States.
