While Matt Damon has been reinventing himself as kick-ass action hero, Jason Bourne, Ben Affleck hasn't been quite so lucky of late. A trio of, shall we say, less than successful projects - from the infamous Gigli to Jersey Girl via John Woo's Paycheck - has seen Affleck's star dwindle somewhat, while his initially lower profile Good Will Hunting partner's has practically gone supernova. That may be about to change, however, as Affleck will be taking a leaf out of Damon's book and embracing the life of a covert operative in the upcoming Nowhere Men (not to be confused with flop TV show, Nowhere Man, to which it bears no relation). The basic premise will see Affleck as part of an elite team who travel the globe on top secret assignments. But these aren't your average black ops commandos, oh no. Blessed with 'unique' abilities, the agents are superhuman enforcers of US foreign policy and deploy their destructive powers for the good of Uncle Sam. Pitched as Ocean's 11 meets Men In Black, this ensemble thriller sounds more like X-Men with government funding to us. But then, it's not like that's a bad thing.
