Fans of James Bond movies might like to know that Christie's have a major auction of Bond memorabilia planned for September 17th. Among the items for sale will be around 250 costumes, props, original posters, autographed material and even cars related to the 007 series of films, amassed by a private collector over 28 years. Among the items for sale are prop bullets from The Man With The Golden Gun; Sean Connery's velvet-collared overcoat from Dr No; a lifelife model of the tarantula used in Dr No and Oddjob's steel-brimmed bowler hat from Goldfinger. The auction will be the first Christie's auction ever to be broadcast live, on The Auction Channel.
