Gere And Roberts Reunited

Richard Gere and Julia Roberts are finally re-uniting on another romantic comedy. The pair have been searching for some years for a suitable script with which to repeat the box-office success of 1990's smash-hit Pretty Woman, which grossed more than $300 million around the world. Now they've found it. Runaway Bride tells the story of a serial bride who's left a string of broken-hearted grooms at the altar. Gere plays a hard-nosed reporter who's assigned to write a feature about her. Filming is scheduled to begin in October. No director has yet been attached.
