As he is wont to do, M. Night Shyamalan has been building the ensemble for his next film without letting anyone outside of it know what it'll be about. The latest news is that Gael García Bernal will star.

He joins the likes of Eliza Scanlen, Thomasin McKenzie, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Vicky Krieps, Abbey Lee, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Ken Leung as the group who have scored roles, though we wonder if they've been allowed to look at the script yet. It does mark Shyamalan's biggest ensemble for a while, and will see him as usual working from his own script.

There's no indication in Deadline's story on the casting as to when Shyamalan might start shooting the film, even as some productions are gearing back up with necessary Covid safety protocols in place.
