Top Brit-flick The Full Monty was stripped of its initial racial theme and had all but one of its original non-white characters written out. The movie was originally dubbed Satisfaction, and was to be a celebration of racial integration based on two Afro-Caribbeans, one Oriental, an Asian and two white men who form their own male striptease troupe. Black film-maker Paul Bucknor wrote the original storyline, reckoned his motivation had been " to explore friendships and sexual relationships between the different races in modern Britain". Fundamental issues in the film industry here - would it have had the same success with the Satisfaction storyline?
