Another Friend, another films...

Friends star Matthew Perry - the one who became grossly obese over his romance troubles - is set to join movie boy scout Bruce Willis in the hit man comedy, The Whole Nine Yards, to commence shooting in Montreal May 23. Polishing his weapons for yet another gun-blazing outing, Willis plays - wait for it - a hit man, who moves into the suburbs under cover of the witness protection program. Perry will play his neighbour, a hapless dentist whose wife wants him extracted from the living world permanently. Attached to direct is Jonathan Lynn (Trial and Error). The film is Perry's first since the Warner Bros. comedy Three to Tango, which co-stars Neve Campbell and Dylan McDermott, set for release in this Autumn. He'll shoot Nine Yards in between production of the sixth season of the NBC hit sitcom. Clearly bouncing back from his recent love troubles, Perry is also penning The Shrink, a new comedy creation for ABC under his deal with Warner Bros.
