Delayed along with pretty much every other movie this year, the Ryan Reynolds-starring adventure comedy Free Guy is currently targeting a December release date (though a recent comedic teaser from Reynolds and some of his co-stars covers the bases in the event of another shift). Check out the new trailer for the movie.

With Shawn Levy in the director's chair, Free Guy finds Reynolds as Guy, an unassuming bank teller in a very odd city where violence seems to break out all the time – something its citizens seemingly take for granted. Turns out, Guy is an NPC – a non-player character – in a sprawling crime video game. When he meets "Molotov Girl" (AKA Milly, a gamer played by Jodie Comer), he falls for her and learns the truth.

Yet as Guy tries his hand at being a hero, he has an effect on the game, much to the dismay of its creator, Antoine (Taika Waititi). Can Guy save the city and his entire world?

Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery and Utkarsh Ambudkar are also among the cast, with the film due on 11 December.
