Mummy actor set for world trip

Brawn with brains Brendan Fraser, currently buckling his swash against bandaged baddies in The Mummy, is set to star in a re-make of Around the World in 80 Days. Fraser is likely to portray adventurer Phileas Fogg, played to gentlemanly perfection by David Niven in the 1956 film. According to Variety, Fraser and Mummy director Stephen Sommers are on board at Warners to begin production on the film early next year. The story follows Victorian chappie Fogg on his whimsical circumnavigation of the globe after he makes a bet at his gentleman
