Julia Roberts is to star alongside Hugh Grant in "the sequel" to Four Weddings and a Funeral. Roberts plays an American film star who falls for Grant's second-hand book-seller. Apparently, the comedy, scripted by Four Weddings' writer Richard Curtis with the working title of "Notting Hill", is intended to be "Four Weddings in spirit". However, Four Weddings and a Funeral is now the second most successful British film in history. It's been knocked off the topslot by Bean: The Ultimate Disaster Movie, featuring the rubber-faced antics of Rowan Atkinson, which has already taken $100 million advanced bookings in America. Elsewhere, Bean is a surprise success in Australia, Brazil, and in Serbia it outsold The Lost World.
