As strange as it might seem, an A-list cast seems to be assembling for the movie version of Dallas. Offers have reportedly gone out to Jennifer Lopez for Sue Ellen, John Travolta for J.R. Ewing and Shirley Maclaine for Miss Ellie. Owen Wilson is in negotiations to play Bobby. While Wilson is the only one currently in negotiations the other three are expected to sign on.
The film will be directed by Robert Luketic (Monster-in-Law) and is being written by Robert Harling and Sacha Gervasi.
