Porn baron Larry Flynt and his brother Jimmy escaped a possible 24 year jail sentence thanks to a plea-bargain (see empireonline news 10.05.99). The Flynts had been charged with fifteen counts of obscenity, but agreed to remove all X-rated material from their Cincinnati store in order to avoid a trial ruling.
