The third and final trailer for Spider-Man 3 has hit the web and it’s the most venomous, action-packed look at Peter Parker’s turn to the dark side we’ve seen to date. Starting with all the ‘Mary Jane and Peter lying on a web, k-i-s-…’ stuff – the calm is shattered by the entrance of a very pissed off Harry Osborn (nice glider) who precedes to smash Peter through a building, before we see a suited Spidey swinging around a skyscraper whilst shooting web pellets at the hovering Goblin. This footage did appear online earlier this month, but it’s still worth reminding ourselves that he’s swinging around a skyscraper AND shooting web pellets. Which – as I’m sure you’ll agree – is very, very cool indeed.
Then things start to get nasty - really nasty. We’ve seen the black alien goo creeping up a sleeping Spidey, but in this third instalment we see more thrashing, more fighting, more Eddie Brock and a helluva lot more goo. Oh, and the last minute is quite simply amazing.
