Fat Slags’ First Feature

The obese heroines of Viz comic's The Fat Slags will be thundering from page to screen in their first movie. The film was announced in the debut list of projects from Artists Independent Network (AIN), which also included a $50 million take on Guy Fawkes' gunpowder plot, entitled November 5th. No names are connected with either project as yet, but considering the size requirements to play the corpulent geordie duo, prospective stars will have to undertake a bulk-building diet to make Renee Zellweger's eating regimen for Bridget Jones' Diary look like chicken feed.
