Live! On stage! It’s Babe meets… The Sex Pistols? Well, maybe not. But DreamWorks Animation is planning a CG ‘toon based on Jarrett J Krosoczka’s Punk Farm.
Figuring that the last time it used a children’s book to inspired a cartoon movie earned it a little money (hint: it has an ogre in it), the company has grabbed up the rights to the book, which sees a cow, a sheep, a chicken, a pig and a goat form and underground rock band. DreamWorks development types Kevin Messick and Jim Hecht will co-write and produce the film, but there’s no director announced yet.
Expect an all-star cast to sign on as soon as the script is ready.
