The original 1980s Fame, directed by Alan Parker, told the jazz-handsy story of kids at the New York Academy of Performing Arts and inspired a generation to seek stardom/wish people would stop playing that damn song, because life is not one long hen party and not all of us wish to learn how to fligh.
