The latest predicted release date for Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut is the second quarter of next year, according to a report in yesterday's LA Times. Apparently a publicist for Tom Cruise, who appears in the film along with wife Nicole Kidman, had told them, "Nobody knows when Kubrick will get his movie finished... Kubrick's editing it now. When he gets closer to finishing it later this summer, we'll have a release date." The movie was originally supposed to be released in time for last Christmas.
