It may be the most wonderful time of the year, but the Christmas season boasts a growing number of revenge movies. The latest to be added to this festive pile is the Duplass Brothers-produced Tangerine, which cracks out all of the neons in this brand new poster.
The film takes place in Tinseltown on Christmas Eve where, after a month-long spell behind bars, transgender prostitute Sin-Dee (newcomer Kitana Kiki Rodriguez) discovers her pimp boyfriend has been getting up to no good with other lady friends. Cue the ex-con teaming up with her BFF and wreaking havoc across LA as they attempt to put the rumours to bed.
Written and directed by Sean Baker (Starlet, Prince Of Broadway), this tale of friendship and home truths is released in UK cinemas on November 13 after its premiere at the London Film Festival tonight (October 9).
