Michael McGowan, who wrote and directed inspirational marathon movie Saint Ralph, which saw a lad paying tribute to his dying mother through a race, is again tackling family issues – albeit with a lot less running – in Unforgettable.

The drama focuses on a married couple slogging through a stale relationship who receive a new lease on life when the husband suffers from a problem with his short-term memory. As he tries to work through his ailment, the pair realise just why they originally fell in love. Richard Finney wrote the first draft, which was then re-written by Todd Stein. McGowan plans to give it a polish before starting work on the film.
