Die Hard: With Embarrassment

Bruce Willis was acutely embarrassed at Cannes as critics watched excerpts from his forthcoming blockbuster, Armageddon. During what was supposed to be a deeply moving scene, in which heroic Bruce bids farewell to his daughter (Liv Tyler) before sacrificing his life to save the world from the onrushing asteroid, the critics all burst out laughing. "As you can see, it's a comedy," said an obviously embarrassed Willis, before adding, "We beg you not to judge from what you have seen today."
