Leonardo DiCaprio has apparently committed himself to playing the lead character, a psychotic murderer, in the movie adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis' controversial novel American Psycho. It was the first of the many $20 million dollar-plus parts with which DiCaprio was deluged after Titanic to interest him. The baby-faced superstar’s fee will earn enough to raise him to the highest level of Hollywood earners. "Leo is extremely excited about this script and has decided to make it a priority," said DiCaprio's manager, Rick Yorn. The movie is being produced by Canadian company Lion's Gate Films, and a spokesman for them added, "To have the most romantic man in the movies play someone with no heart or soul will take people's breath away."
