Di and Costner?

According to Premiere, Princess Diana was considering a movie career prior to her death. Kevin Costner is planning a sequel to The Bodyguard and a part had been written to suit Diana - "dignified, sexy, smart and funny". Method probably wasn't going to be required though, she was going to play a "beautiful princess... with really great political stances". Set in Hong Kong, you won't be surprised to hear that there would have been a "love thing" going on between the two. Whether Fergie will now fill the role is unclear. Word from the Palace? "No such negotiations ever took place."
