Cruise may suffer witch craft

Tom Cruise will produce a new version of I Married a Witch. The original 1942 film, starring Fredric March and Veronica Lake, concerns a witch and her father who magic themselves into the twentieth century to kill the descendant of a man who had them burned in the Salem witch trials. However, the 'witch' falls in love with the man from her future. While as yet there 'are no plans' for Cruise to star, his studio admits the project could be adapted, if need be, for him and his wife Nicole Kidman.
