The powers that be have been promising a fourth outing for Indiana Jones for the past couple of years, but news today suggests that production discussions are further along than many thought. The New York Post today quotes an insider on the production who reveals that 'Paramount had meetings last week about the movie. They want the original credits - George Lucas producing, Steven Spielberg directing and Harrison Ford to star.' Although a script has not yet been agreed, the main sticking point appears to be the cost of having such cinematic heavyweights on board one project. 'Harrison wants at least $25 million plus some of the back end,' the source says, 'and George and Steven have said they will work for a lesser fee than usual, but want a big portion of the movie's proceeds. 'The entire movie is going to cost them $150 million and Paramount can't figure out how it's going to make any money with all three of the big names demanding money off the back end."
